Processing question in my Admin area

I am new to this and have finally opened my store. I would like some suggestions or feedback on how to handle this issue I am having over completing my orders.

  1. After I have filled an order and shipped it, how do I remove it from the Processing section of my Admin cart. I have been going in and editing each order and changing the status to "Delivered" but this does not seem right because the order has not actually been delivered, it was only shipped.

  2. Is there a way of changing the status of multiple orders without editing one at a time?

Re: Processing question in my Admin area

I changed "delivered" to "dispatched" and use that as the end of the process.

Thank you. Will the Super Orders that you mentioned all me to mass update multiple orders?

To clarify, by "changed", he meant "renamed", using the Admin->Localization->Orders Status menu.

As far as mass-updating multiple orders, I think the reason torvista posted that link was because he was suggesting that it could handle mass-updates as you stated.
