Setting up site to attribute sales to a specific person (or referal)

I was curious if Zencart had the ability to attribute web traffic / sales on the site to a specific source? I don't know what exactly would be called so that rules out an effective search on this site.

Here is what I am looking to do. Many of my competitors, large companies, give people the ability to advertise for them, and if someone clicks that link and buys a product then that person will make some dollar amount off of the sale. Does zencart have the ability to do something like that?
