Photo gallery to display images

Hi i want to display photos on my website for work i have done so people can see, how can i do this? I dont want a cart to sell photos i just want a page to show my work? Can this be done?

You can make a gallery page using define_page_2(3 or 4).php
The set up is already established as a page in Zen and is ready for you to customize.

How would i do that? It it just a case of adding photos somehow?

Here are the files to alter:

admin/includes/languages/english - to define page name
includes/filenames.php - to define page name
includes/modules/pages/page_4/header_php.php - change to actual page name
includes/modules/sideboxes/more_information.php - add page name to your index page sidebox
includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/templates/tpl_page_4_default.php - this is where you'd add your content in code.
You can add styling with css here: includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/css/stylesheet.css

Once you get the page set up with the defines... you can edit your content in the define pages editor. I know many users edit with CKEditor. :)

Another option would be to make a category for your images, then add them as documents (third option down). That way you can provide a description for them and other information if you like, but they would not be "for sale". In fact, you could just have one of these and all of your pictures could be in the one document as additional images. You could then use an addon to swap the additional image with the main image, image, etc...(Of course that add-on will affect all products in your cart if that is not a problem. If it is, then you would have to get it customized to only affect the one category/product.

If not already installed, you may want to consider Image Handler 4 (for V1.5.x of ZC) and/or Colorbox. They will allow some various options with the images including presenting the image(s) "full screen" when clicked on with a backdrop of some type. FYI, they do not need to both be installed to function, but they work together with minimal additional effort.

For further clarification, the option described is the Product - General, which by default is set to not allow adding to the cart. (Is modifiable as well.)
