Specials Font size in category and product listing

Hey zen pals.

Quick question, I found the font size in my CSS for specials, and im wondering if its possible to have it in two places, the category listings and the product listing is the same, and I want it to be different. Let me show you

First pic is with font at 14 ( I want 14 for product listing , but NOT category listing , that's too big ! )
Second pic is product listing, 14 is great !
Third is 12 the way I want category, am I asking too much?

Basically need to modify the css "assignment" for one of them, and then have the "definition" (rule) for both and you can have the two/three/four,etc versions desired. Can search for file(s) using developers toolkit in admin panel if not sure which file(s) to modify. Search criteria would be the applicable css information such as class, id, etc...

if its possible were on the right track, I appreciate the reply.

This forum has a lot of jedi masters lurking , just need the right one to hit it and post !

Of course it's possible, just a matter of capability and desire to do "on own" :)

I would think that enough has been provided/identified to do the above. Hopefully with the help already provided you can figure it out. If you do, please post your solution to help others that may be lurking as well. :)

Terminology is important wirth stuff like this. Your images 1 and 3 are the product listing. Image 2 is the product info page. If I understand, you want the price on the product info page larger, but not the product listing. Try adding this to stylesheet.css:

.productListing-data .productSpecialPrice, .productListing-data .productPriceDiscount {font-size: .8em;}

I put in what you posted and the green writing on product listing was super small

.productSpecialPrice, .productSalePrice, .productSpecialPriceSale, .productPriceDiscount, .central-boxes-price {
color: #669900;
font: bold 15px Arial;
}

.productListing-data .productSpecialPrice, .productListing-data .productPriceDiscount {font: bold 12px Arial;}
