ultimate seo install help

I am new to Zen Cart and still working at coming up to speed.
I have a basic test site I am working on and would like to install some thing
to change the url's to something more friendly to SEO and people.
I have searched through the Ultimate SEO help forum looking for a simpler
set of install instructions, for a non techie like my self.
It also seems that I can't post anything to that forum, so I am posting here.
Does anyone know of a set of instructions that are easier to follow or
maybe help to explain the supplied instructions.

There are no "simpler" set of instructions... There are six steps (broken down for non-techies) listed in the README under INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS... None of these steps can be "skipped".

If you have a question about one of the steps (or are having difficulty understanding a step), the Zen Cart community may be able to help answer your questions. Just ask us (and be as specific as possible)!

Note 1: It would also be beneficial for you to answer all the questions found in the "Posting Tips". The "Posting Tips" section can be viewed when creating a new thread or replying to a thread. They are located right above the "Your Message" section and can be found by scrolling up.

Note 2: Here is official support thread for Ultimate URLs under Zen Cart 1.5+. If you are having difficulty creating a new post in that thread make sure the website address in your browser starts with "http://" not "https://".
