The template demo shows all pages of the zen cart. If you want to view the responsive design using a desktop and an emulator you need to use these urls after you go to the demo and switch to the template you want to view:

Tablets:

Blank or partial pages means an error occurred.. what do your error logs say???

Check your logs folder for errors and correct them. My guess is that you have plugins installed that have files in your old template override folder that you have not copied over to the new template override folder.

I do have the sideboxes set to off for @min-width, but they still show up. I have gone through a ton of files, but can't find the issue anywhere. I did PM you the link to the site. The only file I made changes to that seems like it might have affected it is the html_header.php file, but I uploaded the one from the template zip and it didn't fix the issue. I don't know what else to check? I've spent hours on this now. Are there any admin settings besides the @min-width that I need to check? Thanks!

I have one quick issue with the template I searched through the thread and didn't see anyone else having the issue. So I figured I just missed something.

When I click on Log in , add an item to cart, check out and possibly other links it gives me this error. It does not do it on my other themes so I'm guessing I just missed a file in upload or something silly like that. Any ideas?

Never mind! I got some help and figured out I was missing the ajax.php file in my main directory.

That file is part of CORE Zen Cart v1.5.4, and not an issue that would be caused by installing this template..

What is the best way to create the mobile drop down menu on a minimized browser on a desktop.

Essentially, I am seeking to put the "categories" header menu items into the black drop down button
at 600px, for example.

I would recommend looking at the jquery slimmenu documentation for instructions.

The template is compatible with any stable, properly installed plugin. You will probably need to merge some files.

I am working on finding the area where slimmenu is initialized.
(I have found its js file, of course)

But if you could help find where it is called on,
that would be a great help.

I have found that my template simply doesn't work like the Demo Does.
For some reason or another the slimmenu doesn't activate on the desktop.

(this is on two different sites)

Btw, I am using v1.5.4.
