Error message on the top of my homepage

Hi all,

I got this error message on the top of my store page:

Notice: Undefined index: lang in /var/www/clients/client2/web16/web/includes/application_top.php on line 18.

It has a problem with this line: preg_replace("/[email]/e",$_REQUEST['lang'],"error");

What could be the problem? I did not change anything, it just appeard.

Has your host upgraded the PHP version on your account ?

Also, howw did you endup with version 1.5.1, was it through an upgrade or a fresh install/rebuild?

These are my server informations:

Server OS: Linux 3.2.0-31-generic
PHP Version: 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.11 (Zend: 2.3.0)
nginx/1.1.19

I don't know if it has been upgraded or not. I have more zen-cart stores, and the error appeared only at this one.

The store was upgraded to 1.5.1.

Zen Cart's default error-handling disables the issuance of "Notice" type errors. Make sure that your file /includes/extra_configures/enable_error_logging.php (and a similar file in /YOUR_ADMIN/includes/extra_configures/enable_error_logging.php) are (1) there and (2) not corrupted.

What does this line change if I turn it off?
preg_replace("/[email]/e",$_REQUEST['lang'],"error");
