Order history cancelled in admin platform after refund via Paypal!

Hello. I've look everywhere but still couldn't find why my order history has been cancelled after I've refund the order via Paypal. I'm not even to see the order under that customer's account.

Could someone please kindly advice? Thanks so much~

Are you saying that refunding the order via PayPal caused the entire order to be removed from your database? Can you no longer see the order from your admin's Customers->Orders page?

What version of PayPal (Express Checkout vs. Standard/IPN) are you using? Are there any myDEBUG*.log files in your store's /cache folder (since you indicated that you're running v1.3.9f ... which you should plan on updating soon)?

Go to your admin's Modules->Payment. What is the title of the PayPal module that you have enabled?

You are using the older, less reliable PayPal Website Payments Standard - IPN; change that to use the newer, more reliable PayPal Express Checkout. You use the same PayPal credentials, but can have one or the other but not both enabled at any one time.

That means something set the order's status to an invalid value.

You can probably use the Admin->Customers->Orders page "Search" feature to look up the specific order. Then update the order to a new order-status (Shipped, for example) using the normal update controls. That should set it to a valid value.

The refunded orders are all completely gone. Therefore, I can't update the orders to a new order-status.

Do you know the order number?

If so, click on an existing order, and then in the browser's URL address bar, change the order number shown to the one you want to look at, and press Enter. That should show the order.
