Change Attributes Layout using ONLY images

Hi!

Maybe you can help me.
I need to have two variants for every product on my site: new and used.

As you know, Zen Cart provides many layout type like Drop down menu, radio, checkboxes etc. etc. , but I'm trying to do somethnig different.

I would like to have it replaced by 2 button (I use a template with CSS buttons), one for the new and one for the used, eliminating the "Add to cart" default button.

So the customer can press the used or new button and it will be automatically on the chekout /cart page, with the right attributes (it's only a matter of price, you know).

Do you think it's possible? I've tried many times to modify every file that treats attributes but with no success at all!

I am not an expert but I will offer a simple solution that might work so that your not editing your cart to pieces which you can still do if your determined.You could switch the cart from a add to cart to a buy it now button.You can do this in the Admin settings.
& just add a NEW or USED Image in the Description box. make one product for new & one for used with the proper attributes & image & description you want.

Thanks, but it's not what i meant. I'd like to have 2 buttons shaped exactly like the "buy now" or "add to cart" button, one for every condition (new/used). I installed the Stock by Attributes plugin for that purpose, but i couldn't find the right code in attributes.php to change.

Even the css aren't getting me anywhere :mellow:
