Re: Subcategories do not display after clicking on category in the ledt menu?

First check the setting in Configuration ... Product Lisiting ... for:

Show SubCategories on Main Page while navigating
Show Sub-Categories on Main Page while navigating through Categories

0= off
1= on

To ensure that this is turned on ...

Next, if turned on, do a search in the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... in the bottom input box for:
category_row

what comes up?

Re: Subcategories do not display after clicking on category in the ledt menu?

And do you have it turned on in the Configuration ... Product Listing?

Check the setting in the Configuration ... Layout Settings ... and make sure that is set to 1

Categories - Always Open to Show SubCategories
Always Show Categories and SubCategories
0= off, just show Top Categories
1= on, Always show Categories and SubCategories when selected

Re: Subcategories do not display after clicking on category in the ledt menu?

Do you have this file with the code in it, particularly the one I bolded?

/includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_modules_category_row.php
Line #2 : * index category_row.php

Line #11 : * @version $Id: tpl_modules_category_row.php 2986 2006-02-07 22:27:29Z drbyte $

Line #13 : require(DIR_WS_MODULES . zen_get_module_directory('category_row.php'));
```\
What version Zen Cart are you running?
Re: Subcategories do not display after clicking on category in the ledt menu?
Correct. Have it. It recently stopped working. The only thing I can think of is I had installed word press.
Thank you, Sincerely, MagicMan
Re: Subcategories do not display after clicking on category in the ledt menu?
And that line is not commented out or missing in the original default template file or your templates and overrides file, correct?
Re: Subcategories do not display after clicking on category in the ledt menu?
Correct. It works fine on my other web site. I have gone through most of the settings and cannot seem to figure this one out. It certainly hurts with the functionality of the site.
Thank you, Sincerely, MagicMan
Re: Subcategories do not display after clicking on category in the ledt menu?
And the Zen Cart version that you are running?
Can you switch to Classic Template for a minute to see if it works?
Re: Subcategories do not display after clicking on category in the ledt menu?
Good news. It works on Classic Template. Now at least I know it has something to do with one of my template files.
Thank you, Sincerely, MagicMan
Re: Subcategories do not display after clicking on category in the ledt menu?
I think I found the error. It seems to be in my html_header.php file
