Adding to existing website

We're considering adding Zen-Cart to our exisitng website. how do we go about this? Our current cart is LiteCommerce.

You don't, really. Zencart was designed to be a stand-alone ecommerce program, and can't just be tacked on to an existing site.

In what way are you considering "adding Zen Cart" to your existing website? As stevesh says, Zen Cart works best when used as your whole website (it has extensive information page capabilities), but it is possible to install it in a subfolder with links to the "shopping" section of your website. It won't work as just a backend for non-Zen Cart product pages, though; it needs to serve all of your product presentation and purchasing functions.
