Accidentally deleted Manufacturer name - products won't re-link up

Hi,

In attempting to change a photo for one of the manufacturers on my site, I deleted them instead. The entire product line is still there - and can be found in the store if clicking on one of the featured items or specials, etc. But even though I reset up the exact manufacturer name, they do not show up in the "manufacturers" drop down in the cart.

How can I get this manufacturer to show up again?

Go to phpMyAdmin and look at the table:
products

what is the value for the field:
manufacturers_id

of a Product that used this Manufacturer that got deleted?

Now, you have re-added that Manufactuer, correct?

And his new manufactures_id is something like 23 or what ever ...

Let's say the original manufacturers_id was 12 that you found in the products table ...

What you need to do is edit the table:
manufacturers

and change the manufactuers_id from 23 (whatever your new value is) back to 12 (whatever your old value was) ...

then you need to edit the table:
manufacturers_info

and change the manufactuers_id from 23 (whatever your new value is) back to 12 (whatever your old value was) ...

This should put the New, replaced Manufacturer back into line with the old settings ...

NOTE: Database Backups are your friend before making changes like this ...
