strip meta tag description

bing say me that meta description is too long: is it possible to strip the meta description for whole site (without adding description for single product into admin zencart)?

ok, but I would only shorten the meta description...

Alright. Feel free to rewrite /includes/modules/meta_tags.php to generate a different description. Just be mindful that making big changes to that file could negatively hurt your SEO, instead of improving it.
