shopping cart count in header showing link

I installed a template that i like as my base layout but have the cart counts in the header showing up as link. You can see here atcvaping.com top right. I have looked and looked can't seem to figure it out. Help needed

More than likely the code has <? (Short tags) Instead of <?php and your site doesn't allow short tags (php.ini)

For future reference, please surround code with code tags: ```

The thing is, that file loads other files as well: tpl_mega_menu.php for example.  Go look in that file.  I think that it is in the includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/common folder. That is/has been where short tags have been found before.
