Ugly |_ category tree

Hello,
How to disable ugly tree features like -> or |_ in sidebox category tree? If I want to replace this with right-shift for example, how to do that?
I use Stirling Grand template from Picaflor Azul, but not shure if this is template thing.

This is not template related, but customize it in admin--configuration--layout settings.

Thanks,
