How to Integrate Latest Products on a CMS page?

Hi guys! I have a website where a bored HTML page and the store in a separated directory. Now I want to turn the site more dynamic and to install any CMS that let me embed the latest products in the homepage. I was thinking in a more secure system like Drupal. But it seems is not so simple or there is not any plugin to let do this. The second option is Wordpress. But I want to hear your advice. What CMS do you recommend that let me show the latest products on the homepage?

No, I didn't because my question is basically for ZenCart owners. What they recommend.

I would recommend making your whole site in Zencart, which has CMS aspects itself. A link to your current site would help us come up with more specific suggestions.

Yesterday night ... reading some post I realized that installing a good template I can get the aspect of a CMS that I want... having the "Latest products" on the front. But at the same time a menu to Tutorials or external pages.

The site is www.cryo64.com .

Now the other problem is that I installed ZC in a directory "/store". My current version still ZC 1.3.9. So I don't know if to upgrade to 1.5, then backup everything... and restore it changing the directory by the root. What happen if I just redirect it with htaccess? How affect this to google robots?

How Do I Change (move) the Directory Where Zen Cart is Installed? I do know there is a module for linking WordPress and Zen Cart... But as others have pointed out: if the existing site only has a few pages, it can probably be rebuilt completely in Zen Cart.

One can use a RewriteRule (not redirect) to ensure visitors to the old pages "/store/" will be directed seamlessly to the new location "/".
