Contact Us Email Subject Line not appearing in Email

Hi,

We have a standard email template for Contact Us, which has the following fields:

Full Name
Email Address
Subject
Message

The problem is that when the email arrives in our inbox, there is never a subject, no matter what was typed into the Subject field.

I've looked at the tpl_contact_us_default.php file and there's nothing different about this field from the other fields there.

Can anyone suggest why the subject isn't included in the email sent - and where to look for the problem?
