uploading files

Hello
New to zen cart.

I'm uploading a bought template to a linux server.

Do I stall my files in the zen cart install folder?

No. There should be installation instructions in your template package, but you install Zencart first, then upload the template files.

Unfortunately, bought templates are like a golf putt that doesn't get to the hole. They just don't go in right.
It MIGHT be workable and worth it if it is responsive. Otherwise you might have thrown some cash in the bit bucket. Hope Not.

Also, although most likely or hopefully a local install, the ZC install folder should be removed once it has been installed. (Should have or keep a copy elsewhere, but not on the server where it may be found by "outsiders".)
