Removing Rotating Banners in v1.5.1

I have been asked to change the home page of signaturetennis.com, and know very little about Zen Cart. There are two rotating banners on the the page, and I cannot locate where to remove one of them. I looked in define_pages.php in both the main folder and the template folder and both just show <br> in the dialog box.

Sorry if this is posted somewhere. Please just point me in the right direction and I will work it out.

I will put it back up briefly so you can look.

That slider is a feature of your custom template. I would use the Admin - Tools - Developers Tool Kit to search for slide2 to see what file that's in. You should be able to change/delete the slide in that file.

I did not get any responses to slide2 in the Developers Toolkit.

Here's the path to the slides (from your page source):

I don't know if just deleting the slide image will do the trick or not.

You might have better luck searching using the DTK for <div id="slideshow".

Stevesh - removing slide2 did just take out the image, but left the space. I guess I have to locate the slider function and remove the reference from there.

Download a fresh copy of that template. Usually there is a readme file in the file set which may explain how to enable/disable slides.

Oops, just noticed that it is a paid template! I'd contact the creator, explain the situation and ask for the readme file to be emailed.
