Css would be the way to go. And believe it or not if you share the web address, there are actually those that could tell you exactly how to provide the desired format including exactly where the new text should be inserted.

In your stylesheet on line 134 you should be able to add a margin to the left side

If not mistaken I think the issue is that "space" has had to be added between the product name and the price that is displayed. It is this additional space that I believe is desired to be made uniform or at least so all of the prices line up on either the left or the right and the item description remains lined up on the left.
If that is the case, there does not appear to be sufficient tags in the attribute layout to support a css call to fix...
Another tag <div class="">price</div>
Would need to be added when generating these radio buttons.
If look in includes/modules/attributes.php
And search for something like:
$products_options_details .= $products_options_display_price . (There's more)
And before the $products_options_display_price something like the following is added:
'<div class="attrib_price">' .
Is added, followed by:
. '</div>'
Then when the price is displayed a css tag will be available to do as desired but it may be something where the price is right justified to come off so far from the right and to have a left margin that prevents it being pushed into the text to the left of it...
Would want to duplicate that addition of a tag for $products_options_details_noname as well, and each in the two locations that I found in the file provided with 1.5.3 that was not modified from 1.5.1.

I'm sorry. I misunderstood what you were trying to modify. mc12345678 is correct that you would need to modify the attributes.php file to split the code that builds the label into two sections. One for the text and one for the price. $products_options_details is the variable that is used to display the text and price on radio buttons and checkboxes. In 1.5.1 and 3 the code that populates that variable is around line 183 of includes/modules/attributes.php. I tested this on a local copy of 1.5.1. Floating the price to the right with a margin seems to give you what yo want. This is the code I changed at around line 188. It should be similar in other releases.

Yes, after some more "reflection" (research) a span tag is more appropriate (and less likely to cause a validation issue. While not wrong, would suggest that the css formatting be incorporated into one of the stylesheets using a class or Iid insteadof incorporating directly in the code.
That way the style could be changed on a per page basis if necessary and also would help if the template becomes a responsive design, etc... Again,nothing wrong with it being written inline as suggested.

I agree that specifying the style in a stylesheet is better. I just included the inline code that I tested locally.

I do not know what a span tag is, I can put that code in the css and test it, and I will later probably but is there something else I need to do?
