Invoice where admin can make and send to customer to pay with paypal

I have looked into and loaded the invoice module, but would like the option where I as Admin can make an invoice, email it to the customer and they can pay it with paypal.

If you are creating invoices based on orders from your store, you could use PDF Order Center or Super Orders (from the Plugins section at the top of the page) to create an invoice once the order has been placed. But why not just use Paypal for checkout and eliminate the second step?

Or if you want to create ad hoc invoices which are not related to orders from your store, just use Paypal and send them an invoice.

Re: Invoice where admin can make and send to customer to pay with paypal

I have a good customer that likes to send me a list and I send him an invoice to pay. That's what I did before I had zen cart setup. Now that I have more items I hate having to build an invoice in PayPal to send. > swguy:

You could use the "Encrypted Master Password" plugin. That plugin allows an authorized admin user to sign into a customer's account on their behalf.

Once you sign into the customer's account, you can select the products that s/he chooses, placing them in the cart, and then log off. At that point, you can call the customer to let them know that the products are ready to checkout. When the customer signs in, the saved cart is reloaded and they can go through the checkout procedure, paying with PayPal or whatever other payment method you have enabled.

I was also thinking about logging in as him with a master password - but check him out with Invoice so that the order is placed.

Then in Paypal, don't use paypal to build an itemized invoice, just send him an amount due with a link to his order (you can get this after you place the order from the My Account page). Alternately you could use one of the addons I mentioned to build a PDF invoice, and send that along too.
