PayPal Express Error 10486

Hi. I just apparently lost a customer over an error with PayPal express. This is the message that was sent to me:

Dear store owner,
An error occurred when attempting to initiate a PayPal Express Checkout
transaction. As a courtesy, only the error "number" was shown to your
customer. The details of the error are shown below.

10486
This transaction couldn't be completed.
This transaction couldn't be completed. Please redirect your customer to
PayPal.

Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong? I have contacted PayPal, with no answer as of yet.

I appreciate anyone who is trying to help here but I did get an answer from PayPal that may help anyone else who gets an 10486 error. As it turns out there is no problem with the set-up on my website. Here is there explanation:

Error 10486 indicate the buyer's payment fails due to a bad funding method (typically an invalid or maxed out credit card). This issue is specific to the buyer, not to the merchant. In case where 10486 is returned, merchant's website are recommended to handle it by redirecting the buyer back to PayPal page to select an alternate payment source or to add a new funding instrument.

You probably don't need to, but you can use Admin->Configuration->My Store->Website Maintenance.
