blank screen on admin area after upgrade 151 to 153

hello everyone, i'm trying to upgrade my cart from a 151 to 153. i'm working on a test site, so current installation has not been touched yet.

what i've done:

• started from scratch with a 151 new installation
• succesfully imported current database in 151 cart
• uploaded a brand new 153 installation
• upgraded db to 153
• run the cache sync file

the products show fine in the new card, but I cannot access the admin. basically i'm able to login, but then it comes a blank screen.

i've tried several time yesterday with the full set of the current cart, including templates, addon etc but found the same problem, so I was trying to narrow down the problem, which I think comes from the db

any idea where to start from. i need to keep current database

hi again, i think i got my way round it by keeping the 151 database patched to 153, installing a fresh 153 version inlcluding demo database (created new) and then reversing the config file to read the patched 151 db. seems to be working now.

In otherwords basically you had to reupload the files... Sounds like there was no difference other than that and going back to fully repeat some of the steps (database to be used obviously didn't need upgrading as it already had been.)
