Broke Html order confirmation emails - only showing code

Is it because you've got your store defaults set to sign them up for HTML by default?

For the time-being, if you want to force text-only messages (ie: for this week until you can sort it out after this week's sales), set MIME HTML to off in Admin->Configuration->Email Options.

What is bizarre is that I had a failed payment and got the email for it in perfect html (normally I get text only for admin emails) and when I checked the email archive manager and looked at the html version of it, it was broken. Yet it worked in my email client. Very odd.

So i went through all my files that I had actually updated and found one and it makes sense and what I figured happened but don't remember doing.
Looks like I deleted a body tag somehow. yay butter fingers. I'll double check everything again after turkey day and see what I may have missed with fresh eyes.

But even with that fixed I'm still having the issue.

I'll probably upgrade during my Christmas vacation, because what a way to spend a vacation is elbow deep in code. ;)
