Has this site been upgraded to ZC 1.5.3 from a previous ZC version or is it a fresh install of ZC 1.5.3?

If it has been upgraded and none of your send email options work then you may want to check your upgraded file system for merging errors. Also check the logs folder for any relevant entries.

If it is a new 1.5.3 installation suggest you get in touch with your host.
