Paypal Error (35) error 14094410: SSLV3 Alert Handshake Failure

Recently when customers try to checkout on my site, they get this error:

"An error occurred when we tried to contact the payment processor. Please try again, select an alternate payment method, or contact the store owner for assistance. () - (35) error:14094410:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:sslv3 alert handshake failure"

It happens right when the Paypal button is clicked. Everything was working on my site up until now and people were able to make purchase then all of a sudden THIS started happening. I'm using Paypal Express Checkout and I have Godaddy hosting. I have not changed or done anything to my site since I opened. Which was last month. I've searched all over, but I can't seem to find any information on this and why it might be happening. Any ideas? I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mod. I've also gone to Paypal and got new API info. Nothing seems to work. :frusty: Thanks for any help.

This is related to the POODLE bug identified in the last couple of months.

Thanks for the info! I couldnt find anything! I tried the fix and it still doesn't work. I commented out the correct code and now I AM getting a different error. Now i get this:

We are sorry for the inconvenience. The PayPal account authentication settings are not yet set up, or the API security information is incorrect. We are unable to complete your transaction. Please notify the store owner so they can correct this problem. (10002) 10002 Security error - Security header is not valid

Still clueless...

If the error is 10002 then you've got the wrong API credentials entered in your Admin for your PayPal settings.
