Price after coupon discount does not pass through to PayPal

I have a discount coupon active on my site.
At checkout after inputting the coupon code the discount is reflected in the final price.
When taken to PayPal the price shown and actually charged is the full price not the discounted price that was reflected in Zen Cart.
I am using PayPal Website Payments Standard (IPN)

I followed the threads listed at the bottom of this thread and came up with one that might resolve the issue, though really it should already be solved in a vanilla install of ZC 1.5.0 from what I understand.

Would need to defer to the answers of the posting guidelines questions...
