If there no myDebug-adm-xxxxxx.log files in your /logs folder, then your PHP errors are happening before the logging system can intercept them to put them into the /logs folder. In that case, look at your webserver's apache error-log to see the PHP errors that are causing your page to not draw properly.

Re: ZC154 admin havn't Menu after fresh install on PHP 5.2.17

I find the issue , admin/includes/header.php

the following break PHP code under my 5.2xx version:

<?php
    echo ((strtoupper(substr(PHP_OS, 0, 3)) == 'WIN') ? iconv('ISO-8859-1', 'UTF-8', strftime(ADMIN_NAV_DATE_TIME_FORMAT, time())) : strftime(ADMIN_NAV_DATE_TIME_FORMAT, time())); //windows does not "do" UTF-8...so a manual conversion is necessary
    echo ' ' . date("O" , time()) . ' GMT';  // time zone
    echo ' [' . $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] . ']'; // current admin user's IP address
    echo '<br />';
    echo @gethostname(); //what server am I working on?
    echo ' - ' . date_default_timezone_get(); //what is the PHP timezone set to?
    $loc = setlocale(LC_TIME, 0);
    if ($loc !== FALSE) echo ' - ' . $loc; //what is the locale in use?
?>

Re: ZC154 admin havn't Menu after fresh install on PHP 5.2.17

Turns out this line also is incompatible with PHP 5.2:

    echo @gethostname(); //what server am I working on?
```
You could comment-out that line by putting // at the beginning.
But really... **PHP 5.2 was discontinued in January 2011.**  Time to use a modern version.
