Is there a basic usps, fed-ex, ups to turn on?

Hi,
I have been trying to set up my shipping and the only items are shown in the attachment. [Attachment no longer available]

I would have thought that the cart would have a USPS and UPS file but I don't see it anywhere, also I see that there are add-on for this, but when I read them seem to me that I should have some sort of basic in the cat. Do I?

If I do have them in the basic cart how do I get to them?

Those shipping modules are not part of the core code for Zen Cart ...

They are in the plugins and you can download USPS:

The UPS is at:

and the UPS XML is at:

You should also signup for the News & Announcements forum:

so that you receive updates about Zen Cart as well as these shipping modules ...

Those shipping modules are no longer included in the core download of Zen Cart. This allows website owners to install updated versions of shipping modules as soon as they are released (instead of requiring a shop owner to upgrade Zen Cart --or-- requiring a full release of Zen Cart just to update a single shipping module).

Information on the current USPS module can be found in Zen Cart Release Announcements. I would strongly recommend subscribing to the Zen Cart Release Announcements (if you are not already) to ensure timely updates regarding important announcements. Some third party modules also exists and can be used.

Additional shipping modules (along with information on known compatibility and support threads) can be found by visiting "Plugins" -> "Shipping Modules" on this website. I would recommend reading the compatibility information, the support threads, and searching the forums for discussions about which module(s) will best fit your needs before choosing which ones to install.
