Sub Categories not chowing in side box when category is clicked.

It works with classic template but not my custom template. Cannot figure out which file controls the categories menus side box to look at.

We need to see your site live to be sure of advising correctly. Apparently your template maker has customized /includes/templates/your_template/sideboxes/tpl_categories.php to hobble it.
