(77) Problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?) - Solved
If you get when checkout tries to connect to Paypal Express or Paypal Payments Pro:
"An error occurred when we tried to contact the payment processor. Please try again, select an alternate payment method, or contact the store owner for assistance. () - (77) Problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?)"
Solution: For me it I think it was cause as Cloudflare handles SSL and they don't allow old encryption via cURL so updating PHP to 5.4 (better still switch to PHP 5.4 in cPanel or install PHP 5.4 also if using Virtualmin https://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/web/multiplephp ) fixed it for me.
Just mentioning encase others have issues.
