The answer is in the readme.html file.

This question has been asked and answered so many times already on the forum and there is also a tutorial about it in the FAQs section. You need to be sure that you are editing the file in the template override folder and that you are uploading it to your server and overwriting the file already on your server.
Thanks,
Anne
I don't mean to be disrespectful here, I have read all the comments on this thread several times and I think I had read the one about the browser naming tab but couldn't find it again. I do understand that seeing the same question several times is annoying for pro's such as yourself, but perhaps the answer was never clear enough for us DIY folks with not much knowledge to do this but determined to succeed. Personally I have read everything I could on both this thread, the read me file and searched zen cart forum as well. I for one, kept on looking for the override directory that does not exist. after more then 5 days looking for the answer I resorted to ask the question in hope for a clearer response. after searching zen forum for the meaning of override and custom I finally found where to make the changes and succeeded in renaming the browser tab.
For others that may be struggling with this, just go to zencart > includes > languages > English > winchester_black and modify the meta_tags.php file. A simple answer like that should avoid repeated questions on this.
As per the 3rd box BELOW the slider, I still can't find where to make the change. I read the read me file several times and look for this under every item there with no avail. it's not in the banners, flex footer or anything else I tried. perhaps the answer is there and I can't find it, see it, or understand it. Or perhaps I need a much simpler answer to achieve this task. I guess I will keep trying till I do find it.
I am a big fan of your work and appreciate that you make these great templates available to us for free. I always try to find an answer anywhere before I ask a question, but some times I am just totally lost. I try to learn these things on my own even though some times I get very frustrated.
Again I apologize if this sounded offensive. It wasn't meant to come across that way.
