Admin page is wrong.

My Zencart is loaded and connects to the database, and I can see the correct data on http://fastnit.com , but when I go to my admin folder, it loads a default database, and I can't admin my site. This is after moving from one isp host to a new one. Where do I set the admin page to be the right one? configure.php is correct. wtf?

Better yet, post both configure.php files obscuring your DB_PASSWORD and if included your admin directory.

Should have also advised to place that content between CODE tags by selecting the # button in the tools of the message box, but too late for me to suggest that now.

How did this database get populated with it's current content then if not through the admin panel? How long ago was the move from the other server? And at what point did you select to install the default ZC product into the database because it doesn't just appear there without populating the database?

Thought is that although ZC 1.5.4 is supposed to correct the CACHE_KEY without needing the correction tool, the existence or ability to reach the old database may be causing some issues. Per the move to new host procedure, the old site should be placed and left in maintenance mode while the new site is active giving the "internet" time to catch up and link to the proper final destination.

So are you trying to load the admin using an ip address considering you haven't moved registration? It seems as if things may be in a mixed state and/or your new server isn't setup ptoperly. Or something...

No the site reg isn't in question. I control the dns just fine, thanks. The issue is in the fact that I am not allowed to install zencart, but must have the site host, ipage.com, do it. They installed into a subdirectory, not the home directory, and even though I can reset the home directory to be the subdirectory zencart was installed into, I am not able to get the admin page to load, getting a "Internal Server Error" message. The server is set up properly, the yahoos who "helped" me won't go back and reinstall into the root for me, telling me it's my problem with the zencart program. I strongly suspect they are putting me off, as is their wont. However, if you don't know where there might be some relief inside the zencart settings, then that's it, and I will move to another host altogether. With respect, your problem is obviously not with Zencart - it's your host, and any advice you get here won't help. You don't have FTP access to your own site? If not, your next step should be to find another host, *then *worry about installing Zencart.
