Display by default non-default currency

I realize this might seem like a stupid question to some of you. I price my products by the US Dollar and therefore I need my default currency to be $ so I wouldn't have to update my prices all the time. On the other hand I want the default currency displayed to be NIS since my store works in Israel.
Does such an option exist? Is there a work around this?

I know that you can set the currency by the language and it is set this way however when you first enter the website it's in Hebrew but the currency is $'s which can be very misleading.

Have you thought of defining the currency symbols as NIS and USD rather than the misleading $?

It won't fix the prices being wrong, but at least they won't be misleading?

And just for general information the currencies on my site are displayed as NIS and USD I was just being lazy and didn't want to write USD all the time :blush:

I don't have the file init_currencies, maybe this was about an older version of zen cart.. If I knew much about php I would try to add it myself but I don't and I don't know if maybe there's something I'm missing. Do you by any chance know where this is defined in v1.5.4?
