Is there anyway to easily see the total monthly number of orders? I don't see this under Admin->Reports.

The "Sales Report" plugin will give you a view of your sales over various reporting time-frames.

Thanks Im already using that, it shows a lot of good information about income but I don't see the total number of monthly orders received.

Using the default "filter", choose a timeframe. The 2nd column of the first line of generated output displays the number of orders in that timeframe.
