What mc12345678 is suggesting is that you review the configuration of your email settings and valid email accounts

As the functionality you are wanting is already built into ZenCart

You should check out swguy's SMS On Sale (https://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=291) plugin. It sends an SMS alert to the configured phone number when a sale is completed.
