CherVickers:
THANK YOU ALL!
AT LONG LAST, the site is working with both CEON and Shipstation!
To answer questions:
-
I DON'T KNOW WHAT app.php DO .PROBABLY ITS A SHIP STATION FILE AND THEY KNOWS THE BEST
-
RIGHT NOW THE .htaccess file modified by mc12345678 , #20 is running without the hostgator config .php
-
AFTER THE .htaccess IS LOADED CEON IS WORKING AS USUAL and so is SHIPSTATION
Congratulations...
Should also notice an improved rate of access by people trying to use either of the other two URIs that were being rewritten to your current site...
As to the app.php file... Here is my assessment:
- search on the internet regarding applying the authorization aspect provides that same example in other threads.
- Host/shipstation performed a similar search and copied and pasted the code for others to use.
- The reason for the rewritecond leading to everything going to/through app.php? Well, it is a generic example to indicate, that one, because of the - in the example, all directories are removed (that's why $1 was added into the above rewrite to keep the directories in place), therefore in the provided example only files would carry through so, if there was no specific file provided then whatever is supposed to handle/process the site is what is referenced (app.php)... Kind of a case where someone probably explained everything applicable somewhere on the internet, but that explanation has been lost...
So, lastly, as it looks like there are at least two people watching this thread that use shipstation and each has had communication with shipstation personnel, may I suggest offering the above modifications to the so that they may improve their handling of this situation in this outlying condition where the environment authorization variable must be set within the .htaccess?
