side box out of place

anybody have any Idea how to correct a side box getting pushed to the bottom of the product list screen.
I did this from the admin while trying to get a third row of products to show up. this does bot happen on the home page, subcategories page or product page? I think these problems are tied together.

Re: side box out of place

I just looked at you site using the fire bug tools. You only have 2 columns on the product listing page because 3 won't fit. There could be a number of reasons for this.

Did you change the CSS? If you only changed the admin, did you change the product image size? The spacing between the boxes is different, I don't know if your template allows you to change that? I'm not going to keep guessing at what you could have changed, hopefully knowing what the problem is will help you figure out what you need to change back.

Re: side box out of place

In includes/templates/thegreenstore/css/stylesheet.css line 666 change the definition for .fedprdbox from:

.fedprdbox {
  background: #eefefd none repeat scroll 0 0;
  border: 1px solid #d6f5f3;
  border-radius: 5px;
  float: left;
  margin: 0 13px 5px 0;
  padding: 5px;
  width: 173px;
}

to something like:

.fedprdbox {
  background: #eefefd none repeat scroll 0 0;
  border: 1px solid #d6f5f3;
  border-radius: 5px;
  float: left;
  margin: 0 9px 5px 0;
  padding: 5px;
  width: 173px;
}

Or make the second margin number smaller than that to maybe align more with the newest arrivals below which have an unusual spacing for the third item...

Well like lruskauff was suggesting, should go back to the basics and see what caused the issue that you had. This is best seen in a development site where you can do what you want to the look and functionality and not affect your live store...

The template author ought to be able to help you more than any of us can... It's unfortunate, but even saying that it appears that the template is not responsive and certainly not designed specifically for a mobile device.

Hopefully you can figure out how to get it to look the way you want, and hopefully it is a template that needs little to no additional modification to get the look that is desired without too much rework.
