In Admin->Modules->Payment, click Edit on your PP EC module, and set Debug to Log To File. (See more about this here: http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.php?61199-Debug-Logging-PayPal )
Then try the transaction. I see an error: " An error occurred when we tried to contact the payment processor. Please try again, select an alternate payment method, or contact the store owner for assistance. (10401) 10401 Transaction refused because of an invalid argument. See additional error messages for details. - Order total is invalid."
Now, look on your server in the /logs folder for PayPal-xxxxxx.log files. There will be 3-7 files for each attempted transaction. Each will show some of the progress towards building the data for checkout, and will explain what has gone wrong in calculating the line-item details for submission. I suspect it's a problem with currency exchange.
If it's related to currency calculations, try checkout again using USD. If that works correctly, you'll need to make sure the exchange rates are properly set and your paypal module is properly set to accept appropriate currencies.
At this time the v1.5.4 module can handle 'EUR', 'GBP', 'CAD', 'JPY', 'USD', 'AUD', 'CHF', 'CZK', 'DKK', 'HKD', 'HUF', 'NOK', 'NZD', 'PLN', 'SEK', 'SGD', 'THB', 'MXN', 'ILS', 'PHP', 'TWD', 'BRL', 'MYR', 'TRY'
If you cannot sort it out with the logs, then please zip those log files and post them here for review. (The most sensitive information is already removed from the logs before they are written, but if you need to remove customer name and street address too that's fine. Please don't remove other address information because city, postcode, country may be relevant data.)
Also explain what country your store is set to in Admin->Config->My Store, and what currencies you have in Admin->Localization->Currencies and which is default. And what currency setting you've chosen in your PayPal EC module. What languages are enabled in your store?
I may not be online much for the next couple weeks, but others can offer help too.
