SaleMaker by Manufacturer?

I'm wondering if any of the developers on here could make an Addon for SaleMaker to allow sales to be made based on a manufacturer filter instead of just a category? I tried searching the forums and the plugins page and didn't come up with anything.

Well, it may more than likely be possible, but in the mean time you could place all of your product for a manufacturer into a category (that is not shown on the site) and then place that category on sale... Then when the plugin you're looking for comes in you can adapt to it... Of course not so likely to just appear... May need to go search out a developer... Assuming that the above (and other suggestions likely to come) are not amenable...

I figured it out, thanks anyways guys. It wasn't actually too difficult, just took time trying to find everything that needed changed.

add column in database to salemaker_sales table

I'll upload all of my changes eventually when i have time, worked on this during lunch break from work.
