Cannot get additional images to work

I have 4 other zencart stores. No problems with them. This one just stumps me. I am trying to add additional images but no matter what I do the additional images will not show up. I have made a test item to try to figure out what is wrong.

The main pic is named dog.jpg. The second pic is named dog_01.jpg. They are both in the same folder.
I have changed the template to the classic green but the additional images still do not show up. Have turned off lightbox.
Have removed all html from the description. Nothing works. Any suggestions? :shocking:

Admin->Catalog->Product Types->Product General->Edit Layout->Show Additional Images
