bombarded with spam since upgrading

Hi, since my last 1.5.4 upgrade, I have been receiveing spam messages like

Website Inquiry from xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Now, I have modified the contact page to include only a custom form from my help desk Freshdesk, so the emails are not sent from there, but I am missing another form somewhere, as the message shows the usual Zen stuff

There is still a modified version of the contact_us form on the menu dropdown. I state modified, because the constants used to properly display text have been deleted or not uploaded.

There does appear to still be some of the proper controls in place on the page, but no telling what has been modified in the background. Also, the email address is out there in plain text...

So if the content of the received emails doesn't match that possibly generated by your store then that is the most likely path and that the emails are "spoofed".

oh yes.... the pop up was probably what I was looking for. Email on contact page never got me any problem, there are good filters on the server.
