Mod List Support Thread

This is a great mod ... and probably should become a standard in ZC just to help the helpers....

That being said it would be great if the mod versions were also shown.... to help the helpers and for user...

I agree with the usefulness of the mod.

However, you would need to get all mod developers to use the same method of "branding" in order for this mod to find the info. Otherwise, it would be just too convulated.

probably could get done with the great coders we have around here... :flex: If they just did the mods they work on most would have that information.... seems like most have the versions info hanging out somewhere on the system... I am not knowledgeable enough to know if they keep that information in different places. :cheers:

I checked the admin/includes/appication_bbostrap.php for the line of code mentioned in earlier posts and it is there.

Any idea on how to fix this?

Are you running an old version of PHP? You should be running PHP 7.4 with Zen Cart 1.5.7.

Switching from PHP 7.2 to 7.4 seems to have fixed it.

Not really. Copies are maintained in the not_for_release/ folder of the Zen Cart project.

It is such a help to me in sites with multiple mods.

NOTE: in 1.4.3, the change is on line 43

You should make this change in your own copy. The problem is it introduces new issues in 1.5.8+ because of (optional) sort by name on specific menus.

You could (temporarily) edit admin/includes/languages/lang.english.php and set MENU_CATEGORIES_TO_SORT_BY_NAME to blank and then things would match.
