E-Mail Doesn't work with GoDaddy?

I am having trouble getting the email to work with GoDaddy. I have reviewed some of the forum posts. It has been suggested that I turn on the email archive, which I have done, and then check to see that the email are generated. Where do I go to find out whether they have been generated. The comments seem to suggest that the trouble lies with GoDaddy, but no solutions are provided. If anyone else has encountered this problem, and knows what the solution is I would be most interested in hearing.

The error message I get is
Called Mail() without being connected

The solution with GoDaddy generally is: change hosts!

Do you get any entries in your /logs folder? If so, paste them here.

Other useful information for us to help you:

1. which ZC version?
2. PHP version of your server?
3. which other modules have been installed?
4. which email protocol is being used (E-Mail Transport Method) ?
