Preferred Authorize.net Resellers?

Looking to jump over to an authorize.net payment gateway, but the numbers of "resellers" are staggering. Any recommendations? Are there any variations in rates from one to another? Currently using paypal and I've had enough of them with outages and hiking my rates.

There are some/many "resellers" which offer very good rates but the reseller account is conditional upon maintaining an account with a particular processor and subject to immediate cancellation if you change processor with or without disclosure (fine print).

There are others that provide gatewayonly.com where you must bring your merchant account and they don't care if/when you change merchant providers.

I hope you are not intending to eliminate PayPal as a payment option. Yes, they have raised their rates by eliminating all volume discounts but even after that, (in most cases)the PayPal average monthly fee is less than the average monthly fees associated with accepting creditcards via traditional merchant processing.
