My URL doesn't recognise ZERO! Need help please.

Hello,
Recently, a freelancer updated my site from 1.5.3 to 1.5.4 and transforming to "mobile".
I haven't noticed then about the issue, and I cannot find the freelancer.
Here is the problem: I am selling on my site several products which use the mains (110V or 220V).
I assume that I am not allowed to post a link, so I will write just an example: The product uses 110V - or - 110 to 220V product.
This is written on title. After saving it appears on the URL: The product uses 11V - or - 11 to 22V product!.

The "zero" disappears!!!

Any help please?
Thank you in advance,
Ridgh

Don't have a solution at the moment based on what's been provided, but the link as far as being displayed here is permissible, but up to you if you want to post it:

Have you already posted about this issue? If so, DO NOT POST a duplicate. Instead, reply to your existing post, with MORE information.
NOTE: When making a new post, be sure to include relevant information such as:
What version of Zen Cart are you using?
Has your site been upgraded? When? From what version(s)?
If you've upgraded, HOW did you upgrade? (official upgrade procedure or an automated script from your hosting company?)
What plugins/addons have you installed? When? If your problems are payment-related, what payment module(s) are you using? If it's shipping-related, which shipping module(s) are you using?
If your problems are language-pack related (non-English), have you checked that all the language files are loaded and correct?
HOW did you install Zen Cart? (upload via FTP and run zc_install, or a one-click install from your hosting company? (one-click installs might mean you don't have enough information about your site/server to make customizations easily))
What version of PHP and MySQL is your server using? (See Admin->Tools->Server Info)
WHEN did the problem "start"? How does that compare with other events of your hosting company, changes you've made to your site files/addons, or your admin settings, etc?
Please post the contents of related "debug logs" generated by Zen Cart (wrap the content in ```
and

> If this is your first store, have you tested all aspects of transactions before going live?
> In what ways is your site customized or different from a brand new uncustomized install?
> Please post your site URL* so we can take a look at it. This is especially important if you're encountering display/layout problems, so the problem can be seen directly.
> If you're encountering problems that could be related to your server or hosting company, include the name of your hosting company (not their URL).
> HAVE YOU LOOKED IN THE FAQ AREA for answers to your question? (ie: a search for your error message or what you want to edit/change, etc)
> Have you searched the FORUM for your error message or for answers to the question you're asking?
>
> Also read the "Before You Post" and "Forum Do's and Don'ts" to be sure you provide at least the basics of information in your post. The more detail you supply, the more likely you'll get a usable answer. If you don't give enough information then you'll likely just get a reply asking for more info, or worse: no reply at all. We'd rather give excellent answers than have to ask you more questions!
>
> *NOTE: Search engines index this Zen Cart® support site very quickly. **Posting your URL will cause your site and your post to show up in search engines. If you want to prevent that, put spaces between each letter of the domain name in your URL.**

Which URL rewriter plugin are you using?

LOL... I have no idea... it is done automatically, isn't it?? :dontgetit

As you can see, at the end of each page also appears "p-xx" as "p-22" and I don't know how to get rid of it.

Thank you,
Ridgh

Re: My URL doesn't recognise ZERO! Need help please.

Thank you lat9,
I found one of the problems: in Ultimate URLs, - Enter PCRE filter rules, there was a zero (0). I removed it and it appeared.
It remains only the "p-30.html" problem.
Is there any way to delete the "p-30"?

I'll never know how much I don't know...

Ridgh:

These are the "problematic" links:
https://www.petrutech.com/uhf-stabilized-by-quartz-c-5/11-or-22v-uhf-mains-operated-room-bug-flat-v3-without-battery-p-106.html
https://www.petrutech.com/uhf-stabilized-by-quartz-c-5/11-or-22v-uhf-mains-operated-room-transmitter-without-battery-p-32.html
https://www.petrutech.com/uhf-stabilized-by-quartz-c-5/set-uhf-11-or-22v-mains-operated-room-transmitter-and-receiver-p-45.html
When I go to the above website, the URL on the listing page was "/uhf-stabilized-by-quartz-c-5/110-or-220v-uhf-mains-operated-room-bug-flat-v3-without-battery-p-106.html"... Looks like it is working as expected...

Can you share what you needed to do (for others reading this thread)? Or did it just "fix itself"?

Hard to say more without knowing which alternative URLs plugin you have installed (and the version)...

Re: My URL doesn't recognise ZERO! Need help please.

I've replied twice to the thread - and it hasn't been published...
I fixed the main problem:
Attachment 15847
The 0 appears on "PCRE files rules".
I've removed it and now it appears OK. However, the second question, regarding the page or category number remained open:
on the URL appears :"product_XXX_p_107.html". How can I remove the "p_107" from the URL?

I'll never know how much I don't know...

Sometimes posts are temporarily moderated for manual review before they are released ... several of your posts were moderated and had to be manually released ... sorry for the delay ...

Having a 0 there would translate to: preg_replace('/0/', '', $title); and cause the reported problem. Thank you for letting us know removing the problematic filter fixed the issue. For any who may come across this thread later, the default is blank (no PRCE filters) when installing Ultimate URLs.

Ridgh:

...
on the URL appears :"product_XXX_p_107.html". How can I remove the "p_107" from the URL?
As per the support thread for Ultimate URLs, those "anchors" are required. For more details go read the support thread (this has been asked MANY times and answered with details including pros / cons MANY times).

If you want "full control" of the URL, switch to CEON URI Mapping. Be aware you may need to leave / adjust the existing RewriteRules if switching to avoid potential loss of ranking in SEs.
