you can test the supported protocols on your site here:

https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/

if your site does not meet the requirements laid out by payPal, you would have to contact goDaddy.

you can test the supported protocols on your site here:https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/if your site does not meet the requirements laid out by payPal, you would have to contact goDaddy.No. This is incorrect for the context of the OP.Paypal requires the environment to use the protocols involved. That interaction is between the server and PayPal. That requires different SSL capabilities than when a customer reaches the server... To comply with the information posted by PayPal one does not require a SSL certificate that would be seen by the customer coming to the site with https:. It is still a good idea and is still suggested generally speaking but these two issues are different and divorced... Another way to put it, yes please get a SSL certificate for your store, but having it, assuming it is installed correctly and doesn't have a negative impact on your customer's purchasing desires won't necessarily mean that the server will be able to communicate with PayPal as needed to meet their direction.
