Can't speak for version 5 being maintained seeing as version 6 has been released by Ceon. That to me implies a yes if properly obtained from the provider.

Hi Debbie,

I can confirm Ceon are actively supporting V6 as I am using it and they have provided bug fixes for small glitches. Usually the same day I reported them.

You will need to contact them via their site though as this is a commercial mod.

Interesting to hear that! I am wondering if there are any feature/function changes from v5.02? I have been using it for years without any issues, apart from having to change the split function to explode when upgrading to PHP 7.1. So I am wondering if there is anything new that is worth spending 95 quid on.

Little difference from a functional point of view. I upgraded out of respect. Conor was such a good chap. His software was excellent and he effectively gave it away at the prices he charged. You will now get his Dad, Paul, on the end of the sales line.

Thanks for the response everyone. What I need to do is set a unit price charge for each individual product which reduces if someone buys more than 2 units.

I have read all about the module and it sounds like its doable, I just wondered if I could pick all your brains as you actively use the software?

It is doable and is covered in the copyrighted instruction that comes with purchasing the module.

I would think the support group would be able to help with such a simple request if unable to determine how to configure it after reading. Would suggest, like in this forum, identifying what has been attempted and the result obtained.

Ok, Is there a demo online where we can test drive the software, or at least see it in action.

Would suggest reaching out to Ceon on that (ceon.net). Would assume they have some sort of sample available and if something specific were to be demonstrated they would likely be able to generate it.

Have seen a couple of things related to ups, the method of communication has changed a little requiring https like communication. Would think the more detailed debugging would identify more about the issue by showing the more raw response rather than a blank response.

I suspected UPS as well. Loaded the 6.02 version and got the exact same problem. That told me there was a 6.06 which cured the problem.

Haven't compared the files yet but, I'd wager the change is in terminology for UPS. Too bad as they were the calm one unlike USPS changing mail types semi-annually.

For anyone using v5.x and having trouble adding a category/manufacturer/product to a method due to your htaccess file containing x-content-type-options nosniff blocking the popup window's javascript:

You need to add this line in 3 files, admin/advshipper_category_info.php, admin/advshipper_manufacturer_info.php, admin/advshipper_product_info.php:

header('Content-Type: application/javascript');

I put it in the php section immediately before

_cba.ready (

but I don't think it will really matter that much where you put it.
