API Integration with Zapier?

Hi all,
I am wondering if integrating with the Zapier platform has been discussed at all?

I use Zapier a lot for connecting different platforms, CRM & Accounts / Administration and I think it's an excellent platform, it also alleviates the need (in some cases) for custom coding by 3rd party API developers who don't know either platform at all well.

Being able to have customer data connect smoothly between support systems & CRM, as well as accounts is brilliant. I know there are a huge amount of plugins available for download (both freeware & payware), however having a native API connection could also be of benefit to the community.

I asked Zapier & Reckon recently if they would work their API's together, and basically I was sent a link that could be read here as well.

I was just coming to post the same request. Any chance of that?
I have been using zencart for many years and a few things would be neat to use with Zapier to connect with other services.

Is there a chance here? Is ZC Team even considering this approach and are open to the possibility? It has been almost 4 years since this first post and nothing was commented/discarded or hopefully mentioned anywhere.

This could change the game for ZC in the "integration" world.
