lhungil:
It sounds like a number of things are going on here... A PHP version change, hosting change, Zen Cart upgrade, etc... What was the last thing done before the site stopped working?
Do you have a backup of the site from before the migration, upgrade, and other changes? Hopefully you do, but if not please make a backup of the files and DB now!
The preferred method of handling an upgrade is to rebuild on the new version. The fastest way to get everything working correctly may be to restore a backup. Then use this process (if it was not followed when performing the mentioned upgrades).
Simple SEO URLs and Ultimate URLs work very differently from each other... Which one is installed? What version of the module is installed?
Last but not least, please post answers to ALL of the questions in the "Posting Tips" (go to a notebook or desktop, click reply, scroll up, and read the posting tips). For example what DEBUG logs are being generated?
My apologies on missing the pertinent details. Here's the remainder of the information, as requested.
What version of Zen Cart are you using? v.1.5.1 for existing storefront, v 1.5.4 on separate Linux hosting plan
Has your site been upgraded? When? From what version(s)? The 1.5.1 site was to be upgraded today. On Wednesday, the PHP version was changed from the existing 5.2 to 5.3 without any effect to the storefront.
If you've upgraded, HOW did you upgrade? (official upgrade procedure or an automated script from your hosting company?) On the separate hosting plan, the existing site was upgraded through an automated script.
What plugins/addons have you installed? When? If your problems are payment-related, what payment module(s) are you using? If it's shipping-related, which shipping module(s) are you using? USPS API module is in use, USU was previously uploaded in January 2015 but installation was not completed.
If your problems are language-pack related (non-English), have you checked that all the language files are loaded and correct? No.
HOW did you install Zen Cart? (upload via FTP and run zc_install, or a one-click install from your hosting company? (one-click installs might mean you don't have enough information about your site/server to make customizations easily)) Original install was a one-click install, zc_install was required to complete initial database on cfg file upgrades to v 1.5.1 as existing install was 1.3.x at the time.
What version of PHP and MySQL is your server using? (See Admin->Tools->Server Info) PHP 5.3.24, Zend 2.3.0, MySQL 5.0.96-log
WHEN did the problem "start"? Friday, not provided with actual "start" time.
How does that compare with other events of your hosting company, changes you've made to your site files/addons, or your admin settings, etc?
Please post the contents of related "debug logs" generated by Zen Cart
[06-Jan-2016 15:47:06 America/Phoenix] PHP Fatal error: Multiple access type modifiers are not allowed in /home/content/m/i/k/mikeluna/html/ZenCart/includes/classes/ssu/cores/parser.php on line 10
``` This is the only debug information that appears from the date/time specified and the file is replicating every 2-7 seconds.
If this is your first store, have you tested all aspects of transactions before going live? Yes
In what ways is your site customized or different from a brand new uncustomized install? Custom image on storefront header, background changes, storefront width modifications, side boxes modified.
Please post your site URL* so we can take a look at it. This is especially important if you're encountering display/layout problems, so the problem can be seen directly.
Site URL = store.swherb.com
If you're encountering problems that could be related to your server or hosting company, include the name of your hosting company (not their URL). GoDaddy
HAVE YOU LOOKED IN THE FAQ AREA for answers to your question? (ie: a search for your error message or what you want to edit/change, etc) Yes, I read every link available and the steps provided in all active and closed threads did not resolve the issue.
Have you searched the FORUM for your error message or for answers to the question you're asking? Yes.
